Who stands behind HUST Giving

The President's open letter, what every donor is guaranteed, ways to give beyond the online portal, and whom to contact.

Open letter

To the Bach Khoa community

Seventy years ago, Hanoi University of Science and Technology was founded on a national aspiration: to educate Vietnam’s own engineers, master science and technology, and shape the country’s future through Vietnamese knowledge and ingenuity.

Throughout this journey, HUST has grown primarily through public funding and tuition fees. Yet urgent needs remain that these traditional sources cannot always address in time: a student facing an unexpected hardship midway through the semester and at risk of abandoning their studies; a promising research idea needing early support for its first experiments; or a laboratory requiring new equipment so that faculty and students do not miss an opportunity to innovate.

HUST Giving was created to connect those who wish to support the University with the people and initiatives that need it most—delivering assistance where it matters and when it can make the greatest difference. We make three commitments: i) Every contribution will be used for its intended purpose and allocated to the fund selected by the donor; ii) All income and expenditure for each fund will be disclosed publicly on a quarterly basis; iii) No contribution will grant the donor any right to influence admissions, academic outcomes, or research findings.

If you have ever walked through the gates on Dai Co Viet Street, you understand better than most the value of an opportunity offered at the right moment. It may be a scholarship that enables a student to remain at the University, a grant that gives a research idea its first chance to succeed, or a piece of equipment that helps turn knowledge into solutions for society.

Every contribution, regardless of size, carries forward the spirit of HUST: responsibility, solidarity, and a shared commitment to shaping the future.

Join HUST Giving in creating opportunities today and building lasting value for generations to come!
